We deliver student wellbeing seminars for international schools in person. At St Joseph’s Institution International in Singapore, Glen Gerreyn spent the day with Grade 10 and Grade 11 students, then ran a positive parenting session for the school community.
The reason schools bring Glen in is what students do afterwards. At SJI International, Glen set one invitation: take an action and tell us about it. A Grade 10 student, partway through IGCSE preparation, wrote in: “I really want to continue my dream of becoming a great pianist and hopefully go to Dartmouth one day. Today I set aside time to create my commitment board and my visions for the future, as well as 20 minutes of sheet music reading practice.”
Another Grade 10 student started small: “My small win will be to do 5 pushups everyday for this week, and increasing it by 1 every week… I was really inspired by the idea of commitment and how to build small goals before you develop them.”
The work travels. At the Australian International School Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, a Year 11 student wrote: “Prior to yesterday’s session, I was still doubting whether my passion for becoming a doctor was worth the sacrifice, but after your workshop, I can tell you that I am now willing to go all in on this dream. I am also the school captain for next year and your words on leaders being the people that define reality really hit me hard.”
The parents heard about it at home too. One wrote after the parenting session: “My grade 10 son is a boy of few words, but he did share a few things from your talk… He spoke about having a physical, mental and spiritual goal every day. Last night we were saying our prayers and we spoke about things we were grateful for.”
That’s the bar for a school speaker. Not a good day in the hall. Students who walk out and act that same week, and parents who hear the language at the dinner table.
Glen has spent more than 25 years doing this in 750 schools across Australia, and the work now travels. International visits run in blocks, so if you are planning a term ahead, ask early and we will build your school into the next trip. Plenty of schools first find Glen by searching for a motivational speaker for international schools. The label fits, and the proof shows up afterwards in the portfolios students build and the letters parents send.
What Our Student Wellbeing Seminars For International Schools Bring Into the Room
Hope is a skill. We name it, we teach it, and we give students the tools to practise it: grit, optimism, courage, and resilience. Our seminars are built for Grades 7 to 12 and they’re delivered in person, because a screen can’t hold a room of teenagers the way a person in front of them can.
Every seminar is research-based and built to fit the pastoral care and wellbeing programme your school already runs. We don’t replace your work. We give your students and your staff a shared language to keep using long after we’ve flown home.
Student Wellbeing Seminars International Schools Can Book
Day of Hope. A cognitive reset for a full grade level. Students leave with a plan on paper, not just a feeling.
Hope Express. A 70-minute seminar that shifts how students see their future. Built for Grades 7 to 12.
Men of Honour. A character seminar for teenage boys, on what it means to grow into a man worth respecting. Also runs as our consent education for schools incursion.

Questions schools ask
Do you run seminars for international schools?
Yes. Glen presents in person at international schools. Every seminar is live and in the room; we don’t do virtual sessions.
What does travel add to the cost for an international school?
The seminar fee starts from $3,500. Travel is quoted separately for schools outside South East Queensland; for international schools that’s typically international flights, and accommodation for an early start.
Which seminars can international schools book?
Day of Hope for a cohort or whole school, Men of Honour for your young men, and Hope Express, a 70-minute seminar for Years 9 to 12. Many schools add a parent evening on the same visit.
How far ahead should we book?
Most schools book a term ahead, and popular weeks go first: the start of term and the lead-up to exams. We take bookings up to 2 years in advance, and nearby schools sometimes share a visit and split the travel.
