HOPE EXPRESS
A 70-minute seminar that resets how students think about their future.
WHAT IT DOES
70 minutes. One stage. One message students don’t get anywhere else.
Hope Express cuts through the noise and gives students the vocabulary, vision, and first action they need to walk out different from the way they walked in.
It’s the short, high-impact version of our work, built for assemblies, year-level gatherings, conferences, and tight school timetables.
WHO IT’S FOR
Students in Years 7 to 12. Works across every demographic, every academic band, every postcode. We’ve delivered it in 750 schools.
WHAT STUDENTS WALK OUT WITH
A clear sense of purpose, written in their own handwriting. The 4 sub-skills that build hope: grit, optimism, courage, resilience. A way to recognise the noise that’s been steering them. One specific action they’re taking the next morning.
THE SEMINAR ARC: THE POWER OF PURPOSE
Today’s students don’t lack motivation. They lack vision. The world changes faster than they can catch up, so they get stuck in a permanent present, future-blind.
Hope Express puts the future back on the table. Glen tells the truth about his own story, names the cycle students are in, and gives them the words to describe what they want and the courage to start.
By the end, students aren’t just inspired. They’ve written something down.
WHAT STUDENTS WROTE IN AFTERWARDS
Your talk? Honestly, electric. You didn’t just speak; you moved me. So first off, THANK YOU. Second, your passion, clarity, and the way you commanded the room without a single script in hand? Inspiring. I now also have a new goal to be able to move an audience the way you did (trust me, all my friends were shook). Thanks again for today, you really left a mark.”
Grade 10 student, St Joseph’s Institution International, Singapore.
“I just wanted to say a big thanks to you. You helped me throughout my exams and your strategies helped me achieve so much more than I could have without you, and now I am studying medicine! Thank you.”
Year 12 student, Queensland Academy for Science Mathematics and Technology.
“Your words meant so much to me and I felt a deep connection to the steps you gave us to achieve success. Glen, I now have hope. Thank you for everything you do, you have saved and changed so many lives and the world is so blessed to have someone like you discovering your purpose and living it out with intention. “
Year 12 student, Immanuel Lutheran College.
“Today when I was listening to you talk I honestly felt moved by your words, I felt something stir within me. I recognised parts of myself in your words and I felt a refreshed sense of purpose. You have truly inspired me to keep riding the roller coaster that is life and to hold out until my slump is over. Thank you so much for inspiring me today and for honestly helping me to help myself start to turn my life around and find a purpose. You have no idea how much I needed it. My mum even remarked tonight about how I seem to be back to my old self again. I really can’t thank you enough.I can honestly say I’ve never been this moved or inspired by hearing someone speak before.”
Year 12 student, Tatachilla Lutheran College.
“Today when you spoke to us, it felt like you were speaking to me, like you turned a switch inside me that I completely forgot about or never knew was there.”
Year 11 student, Daramalan College.
“I wanted to begin this email by expressing my heartfelt appreciation for the incredibly inspiring and motivational talk you delivered today at my school, Scotch College Perth. Your vision and insights have left a profound impact on me, igniting a fire of determination to pursue my goals proactively. Your personal “success” story, particularly your resilience and refusal to give up, resonates deeply with me. As a student who has undergone two rounds of chemotherapy, your words have filled me with renewed inspiration. Your message that where there is a will, there is always a way, truly struck me. In the future, my aspiration is to become an oncologist, dedicated to assisting individuals, much like the doctors who played a pivotal role in saving me. Your wisdom and experiences have left an indelible mark on me, and I am excited about the prospect of learning more from you. I extend my sincere thanks once again for your enlightening talk.”
Year 11 student, Scotch College.
“Never have I been so engaged and interested in a presentation in my life. I’m that kid who can’t sit still for 20mins yet I sat there for an hour which felt like 10 mins. Not only was it engaging but I constantly found myself relating to what you’re were saying. I am so beyond thankful for you spending your time with us this week. I’m feeling so much more motivated and really ready to go all in and reach my goals for the upcoming year and future. You have taught me that one of the biggest things I was missing was believing in myself and in my own abilities.”
Year 11 student, Ravenswood School for Girls.
“I’m a year 12 student from Carmel school and just wanted to let you know that your speech today was super inspirational and empowering. Every slide of your powerpoint and every word that you spoke truly impacted me and resonated with me. Thank you for your words of wisdom. The truth is, at lunch I was planning to leave to go to gym because I didn’t want to hear another boring speaker, however I decided to stay and when I walked into the hall I saw an empty seat front and centre with my friends shouting “Come sit here” and so I did. Little did I know that was the exact place in the whole world that I was meant to be. Meant to be listening, thinking and absorbing all knowledge and information you had to share. Everything you said and from the way you delivered it was right up my alley and so suited to the person I am, It was actually scary.”
Year 12 student, Carmel School.
“Your words yesterday at Moreton Bay Boys College really impacted me. You have made me realise many things and have helped shaped my growing positive mentality. Some of your words feel like they are almost engraved in my brain. it was like I found the missing pieces to the puzzle. I can’t thank you enough.”Year 9 student, Moreton Bay Boys College.
