Twelve weeks on character and respect, for boys in Grades 9 to 12.
Male by birth. Man by choice.
Your students are being handed a definition of manhood by people who have never met them. Advertisers, algorithms, and angry men with something to sell. This is twelve conversations they should be having with an elder instead. A course on the manosphere, movement, money, respect and the things nobody says out loud.
Twelve plays. One playbook. And a boy who walks out with a positive definition of manhood, chosen on purpose.

Every week is built the same way. Three or four case studies, at least one of them a real person on the record who did the hard version, with the research alongside. A worksheet the boys write in by hand. One decision each boy writes down and keeps. And a parable at the end with the answers printed for the teacher.
Each activity is timed and the Order of play can pause between each one. A teacher can take the parts that fit the time they have available and the lesson still works with the activities run on their own.
The Men of Honour Course is written as twelve 55 to 60 minute lessons for Grade 9 to 12 boys. Depending on the structure of your pastoral classes, we have six time options outlined below for you to choose from. All ready to deliver with nothing extra to prepare.
Every one of these uses the same manual and the same playbook. Nothing here is a cut-down version and nothing is sold separately.
This is not measured in pages covered. It is measured in decisions kept. The Playbook has a page for each decision, and by the final lesson a boy has made twelve powerful decisions.

Nothing to ship and nothing to wait for.
The Playbook works either way. Print it and hand it to an entire year level in any quantity, or send the file and let the boys type into it on a laptop and save their own copy. Same pages, same writing, whichever way your school runs.
The decks are ready to run. Twelve of them, no preparation.
The Teacher Manual is written out in full. Teacher notes, an Order of play with times, the case studies to read aloud, the whole worksheet with the answers, and a page for every week of what to say when a boy pushes back.
What a week looks like
Every week is built the same way. It begins with case studies of real people doing hard things, alongside research-based analogies that drive each point home. Then comes a worksheet the boys write in by hand if it is printed, or type into if the school keeps it digital, documenting each decision they make to move their life forward. Each week finishes with a parable, and the answers are printed for the teacher.
The Men of Honour Course is designed for easy and stress free delivery for every facilitator:

Male by birth. Man by choice.
The voices you let in create the man you become.
Anger is the business model.
Consistency beats intensity.
Eat for the man you're becoming.
Money is a servant or a master. You decide which.
Anything that changes your mood can own you.
Your name travels further than you do.
Every girl is someone's whole world.
Reading the yes. Hearing the no.
Don't settle for the fake.
You are already somebody's reason.
Each lesson ends with one decision every boy writes for himself. In week twelve he copies his own 12 decisions onto one page and signs it, with conviction, giving him his next steps. Nobody hands him an oath. By the time he signs it, every line on the page is a decision he has already made and is ready to begin living out.

What this is not
Not one page of it tells a boy that being male is the problem, and a room can tell the difference inside five minutes.
The research is clear about why that matters. A 2022 framework for school-based work with boys, from Orygen and the University of Melbourne, found that a discourse focused on the negative aspects of masculinity "could eclipse efforts to intervene early and establish a positive developmental trajectory for boys."
This program is built the other way round. It credits the boy, names the thing that is being sold to him, and hands him something better.

It fearlessly tackles the often difficult issues that boys face.

Optional extra
The Men of Honour seminar is two hours, live, in your school, run by Glen Gerreyn in the week before Week 1.
The boys hear the ideas out loud before they meet them on the page, and they walk into the first lesson already on side. Everything the seminar starts, the course finishes.
Booked separately from the licence.

“As a school, we generally get a lot of talks from external presenters about various matters, but I can confidently say that your presentation today was the best that I have experienced, and this is true for everyone else that I have spoken to. Your story was truly inspiring and the lessons that you spoke to were both meaningful and not ones that we hear enough of as young men, so thank you.”

Download the sample pack (PDF)The Men of Honour Course is a twelve week boys character development program for schools, written for Australian schools and run by the school’s own teachers. It is built for boys in Grades 9 to 12 and covers the ground a school wellbeing program for young men has to cover: who a boy lets coach him, the manosphere, movement and fuel, money, addiction, online honour, respect, consent and respectful relationships, pornography and the future he is building. Each lesson takes about an hour, and the Order of play breaks it into timed parts so it also fits a form time, a single period, a pastoral block or a camp.
Every week follows the same shape. It opens with three or four case studies, at least one a real person on the record who did the hard thing and the rest coming at the same idea from research, and then hands the boys a worksheet in the Playbook where each of them writes one decision for the week ahead. A parable closes the lesson, with two questions and the answers printed for the teacher, and every week opens and closes with a boy saying something out loud to another boy. By the final lesson a boy has twelve decisions of his own on one page, and he signs it.
Weeks 9 to 11 are the respectful relationships core: respect, consent and pornography, written for boys and taught to boys. The whole course is aligned to the Australian Curriculum for Health and Physical Education, with a separate mapping sheet for every state and territory, and in New South Wales it maps to PDHPE as respectful relationships modules.
A school licence covers the Teacher Manual with all twelve lessons in full, the Playbook for every student, twelve projection decks, posters and mindset cards for the twelve plays, and the curriculum mapping sheets. Schools that want a live opening can add the Men of Honour seminar in the week before Week 1, a two hour school workshop on positive masculinity and respect run by Glen Gerreyn, and the course sits alongside the other HopeFULL Institute courses for schools.
The sample pack on this page is Week 3 of the Australian Edition, complete and unshortened, so a head of wellbeing or a pastoral leader can read a whole lesson, Order of play and worksheet before the school commits. One licence per school, one payment, with unlimited classes and unlimited printing. There is nothing to renew.
