Student Leaders are industrious

“Fools wait for a lucky day, but every day is a lucky day for an industrious person.” – Gautama Buddha

Nothing gets done if you stay in bed or waste time on your phone. The leader knows there is no magic to accomplish the difficult task and no substitute for hard work. Many people are just going through the motions; they have yet to feel the ecstasy of true absorption in their work.

But hard work is a prison sentence unless it has meaning. Leaders can find meaning in their work. They see the big picture; they don’t sweat the small stuff and they exhibit a positive attitude.

Constantly remind your team of the impact your work or training will have on the students you serve. Lead with a purpose-driven mindset and be a force for good.

The only things that grow without hard work is weeds.
