I spoke to a boy who is currently in year 12 about the day this morning when we were at rowing training, he told me one word. Listen. I went back to him this afternoon and I said that I now understand what he meant when he said listen, he told me that you were the reason he decided to commit to his goals. He is now the school captain, captain of 1st 15’s, vice captain of the brumbies squad and a sixth year rower, this is just one of the thousands of stories you have contributed to. I want you to know, you don’t only change lives, you save them. Thank you for your passion and commitment to helping young people, it is something i will never forget.”
