“Hello. I’m a Year 9 Student in Covenant Christian School, ACT. You visited today, September 19, and gave a speech and presentation to my classmates and the year above me. I thought it was great. Everyone thought it was good after you left, and I’ve heard some of my classmates actually planning to buy a vision board and apply your advice. Some of the points in your speech I’ve thought about before, like doing things slowly, or that great results are not instantaneous, but I never really applied any to myself. It’s really easy to discount your own thoughts and throw it away, if you don’t find value in them because they’re your own. It’s different to think about something in your head, and play around with the idea, versus listening to someone actually say it out loud, and say with full conviction, that it’s going to be better, that’s its better to change and revert, than never change at all, and that it isn’t motivation but commitment.
