“Thank you so much for your speech, it was honestly one of the most wonderful speeches I have ever listened to. I particularly thank you for the fact that your speech wasn’t fluff filled or condescending in the way that some other speeches are. It gave me a feeling that I have never had before once I left the hall. I felt inspired, unsettled and a little sick, which I don’t think is necessarily a bad thing. Your speech was very moving and I think it came at a time that I really needed it. I’m facing a bit of a crash in how I am doing at school and your speech has helped me to realise that I don’t need to compare how I am doing to others when I need to focus on how I think I should be doing”
